Future Directions: Butetown For ages 16-25
A chance to create you own Digital Opera combining storytelling, videography and music. The project brings together young neurodivergent, autistic, and/or learning disabled people alongside neurotypical participants to explore new skills, develop ideas and create original work, supported by a professional creative and welfare teams. A partnership project with Hijinx.

Music Theatre Wales is re-imagining opera by inviting creatives from all backgrounds to make it their own
We’ve been working with communities in Butetown and Grangetown over the past two years, creating and sharing new opera at Loudoun Square and Grange Pavilion, including The Jollof House Party Opera and The Trial of Dhegdheer.
This workshop is one of two that build on that work, creating new opportunities for young people locally.
