A Space for Conversation, Collaboration & Change
Opera Forum Wales is an open meeting for anyone invested in the future of opera in Wales. The opera sector is facing significant challenges, but this is also a moment of opportunity. How do we work together to strengthen the industry, support artists, and reach new audiences? How do we advocate for opera and ensure its future across Wales? These are the big questions, and we need as many voices as possible to shape the answers.
At this meeting, we’ll build on previous discussions about collaboration, audience development, and creative innovation, while defining the purpose and objectives of OFW moving forward.
Join us on Saturday the 1st of March between 2pm and 5pm at WNO’s Rehearsal Room (Wales Millennium Centre)
What to Expect?
The agenda for the session is as follows:
- 2:00pm – Introductions | Who’s in the room?
- 2:10pm – Welcome from WNO’s General Directors | Adele Thomas & Sarah Crabtree share their vision
- 2:30pm – Open Discussions
- What are the biggest challenges we face?
