Street Art Opera Tour Ends on a High in Newport
At the end of March, we were delighted to head to Live Act Fringe in Newport, bringing our Welsh Street Art Opera tour to a close – and what a weekend it was.
Over the past year, Music Theatre Wales has taken two striking and distinctive works, Out of Time and Rahmat, to festivals across almost every corner of Wales. From bustling city centres to unexpected outdoor spaces, these operas have connected with audiences in unique and memorable ways.
Having now been experienced by over 750 people, the response has been incredible throughout – and Newport was no exception. You can catch a glimpse of some audience reactions from the evening in the video below.
